Let's Celebrate National Payroll Week!

Let's celebrate National Payroll Week (September 7-11, 2026) and recognize the important role payroll plays in supporting America's workforce!
National Payroll Week is a great opportunity to thank payroll professionals for their hard work and dedication to ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with ever-changing laws and regulations. It is also a chance to increase awareness of the payroll withholding system and the vital role payroll plays in funding programs and benefits that impact us all.
Take a few moments this week to recognize your fellow employees and payroll professionals who work behind the scenes to keep payroll running smoothly.
Don't forget to participate in the annual Getting Paid In America Survey for a chance to win an extra paycheck!
For more information about National Payroll Week, visit www.nationalpayrollweek.com.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who contributes to making payroll a success. Your dedication helps ensure that every employee receives the pay and benefits they have earned.

IRS Launches Digitally Authenticated Tax Compliance Report
The Internal Revenue Service today announced a digitally authenticated Tax Compliance Report available through IRS Individual Online Account.
Taxpayers can securely obtain and download the report when applying for a job, a loan, a government benefit, or another service that requires tax compliance information.
Financial institutions, government agencies, and other organizations that receive the report can use its built-in digital certificate to confirm its authenticity. The certificate also helps protect taxpayer information and maintains the integrity of the report.
“By providing a secure, digitally authenticated report, the IRS is making it easier for taxpayers to access and share important information while protecting privacy and data integrity,” said IRS Chief Executive Officer Frank J. Bisignano.
Key benefits
- Authenticated and secure: Each Tax Compliance Report includes an IRS-issued digital certificate that confirms its authenticity.
- Built-in verification: Verification features are embedded directly in the downloadable file.
- On-demand access: Taxpayers can access and download their report at any time through their IRS Individual Online Account.
- Standardized assurance: Each report includes the same authentication and verification features.
